Policies
Bookings
We can accept bookings up to 48 hours before arrival, although it still may be possible to book as late as the same day; but we can only promise that on a best endeavours basis.
Payments
In order to rent any of our apartments the rental payment is due in full at the time of the booking.
Cancellation
Unfortunately there are no refunds if bookings are cancelled, however if we are contacted in advance and we manage to get a re-booking we will compensate you to the value of the re-booking (after any commissions to intermediate booking websites, if applicable have been paid) There is also £25 administration fee.
Connecting transport
Our property manager offers an airport connection service any payments for the service are between the guest and the property manager we have no involvement in the service and do not receive any payments.
Damage deposit
Our properties require a deposit of GBP / EUR 200 or BGN 400, whichever currency is convenient for the customer – at the current time this is required to be paid in cash. You will receive a receipt for the funds which will be returned after the apartment has been checked before you leave.
Arrivals / Departures
In order that the apartment can be thoroughly cleaned guests will need to vacate the apartment by 9:00 on the day of departure and guests arriving will be allowed entrance from 13:00. When we do not have guests immediately before or after your booking we can be more flexible. We also have the facilities to store suit cases temporarily on arrival so that you can enjoy the resort if you arrive early or leave late.
All guests are advised of the property manager contact details at the time of the booking. For arrivals very late at night the keys for the Iglika apartments require collecting from a 24 hour security desk. For late arrivals at Borovets Gardens the keys will be left in a small safe next to the door of the apartment on the wall – you will be supplied with the code.
Pets
We do not currently allow pets to stay in our apartments.
About the owner
Tristan lives in Gravesend (near London) in the United Kingdom, he has worked in the City of London since the mid 1980’s with a career in banking spanning: treasury, capital markets, derivatives and latterly risk management.
Alongside his city career, Tristan also founded Kent Car Imports Ltd, which imported many hundreds of Ford cars from Europe, saving UK buyers thousands of pounds compared to UK prices. (The company also imported new Ford Mustangs from the USA). The firm was known for its keen prices and good service and received many favourable reviews in the press including: The Sunday Times, Autocar and WhatCar.
Tristan bought his first apartment in 2013 after enjoying a ski holiday in Borovets. Until he visited Bulgaria in summer he didn’t realise how rich, diverse and unspoilt nature was in Bulgaria.
